My name is Simone, and I go by Higle (b. 2001, Turin). I picked up the habit of looking closely as a child, when my father, a restorer, took me along on holidays to visit the local churches. What felt like boredom back then grew into an aesthetic sense that, in sharp contrast with classical art, drew me to street and pop art. Following that visual calling, I graduated from an art high school, then took a degree in Communication Studies and worked as a graphic designer. At 24 I moved to Berlin to devote myself fully to my art.
